Organizations (including any contractor to the organization) are required to promptly install security-relevant software updates (e.g., patches, service packs, and hot fixes). Flaws discovered during security assessments, continuous monitoring, incident response activities, or information system error handling must also be addressed expeditiously. End Of Life dates for AlmaLinux OS 9 releases are as follows: Active / Full Support: 31 May 2027. Security-only / Maintenance Support: 31 May 2032. Each minor version (released roughly every six months) reaches end of life when the new version is released. AlmaLinux 9.0 (Emerald Puma) released 26 May 2022.
