The CA-TSS PPHIST Control Option must be properly set.

Password complexity, or strength, is a measure of the effectiveness of a password in resisting attempts at guessing and brute-force attacks. If the information system or application allows the user to consecutively reuse their password when that password has exceeded its defined lifetime, the end result is a password that is not changed as per policy requirements.

From the ISPF Command Shell enter: TSS MODIFY STATUS

If the PPHIST Control Option conforms to the following requirements, this is not a finding.

PPHIST(10-64)

Configure the PPHIST Control Option value to conforms to the following requirements:

PPHIST(10-64)
