If you disable this policy, spell check can only be provided by local engines that use platform or Hunspell services. The results from these engines might be less informative than the results Microsoft Editor can provide.

The policy value for "Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Microsoft Edge/Spell checking provided by Microsoft Editor" must be set to "Disabled". Use the Windows Registry Editor to navigate to the following key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge If the value for MicrosoftEditorProofingEnabled is not set to "REG_DWORD = 0", this is a finding.

Set the policy value for "Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Microsoft Edge/Spell checking provided by Microsoft Editor" to "Disabled".
