Samsung Android 14 must disable wireless printing.

Wireless printing allows the printing of sensitive DOD documents to non-DOD controlled printers, which may lead to the exposure of sensitive DOD information.

Review configuration settings to confirm that wireless printing has been disabled.

This check procedure is performed on the device management tool and the Samsung Android 14 device.

On the MDM console:

COBO and COPE:

1. Open user restrictions. 2. Verify that "Disallow printing" is enabled.

On the managed Samsung Android 14 device:

COBO and COPE:

1. Open a document or image from the file app and try to print. 2. Verify that the printer cannot print.

If wireless printing has not been disabled, this is a finding.

Configure the Samsung Android 14 device to disable wireless printing.

On the MDM console:

COBO and COPE:

1. Open user restrictions. 2. Enable "Disallow printing".
